Salary: 20K - 28K plus quarterly target-based commission
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
The Luxury Sales & Partnerships Executive/Manager is in charge of the overall production and advertising co-ordination for the How To Spend It magazines, FT magazines, insight series magazines, and newspaper advertising from the luxury sector. He/She will have to effectively manage and sustain key client accounts in the luxury sector with every effort on growing revenue and the existing business base. He/She will be coordinating both above the line initiatives as well as below the line events for our clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reply to general requests from media-agencies and clients
Create sales presentations for the team
Offer after-sales support in terms of creative artwork submission and overall coordination with clients
Manage the production of the different supplements from ad placement, flatplan approval to printing.
Event planning and execution for clients
Editorial coordination for custom publications
General admin for the luxury team
Long-term goal would be to develop more business for the division and meet plus exceed annual revenue targets
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications / Competencies / Skills / Experience
The successful candidate must be pro-active and display responsibility, proficiency and initiative. The successful candidate must also show an ability to think on their feet and be able to demonstrate creative thinking when applied to client servicing. Given the structure of the team, the successful candidate must not only be a self-motivator, but must also demonstrate that he/she is a team player.
Essential
3 years relevant work experience
Face to face meeting experience
Knowledge of media sector and advertising sales
Experience in event management and execution
Ability to build successful relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders with the FT Head Office.
Desirable
Cantonese speaker preferred
Experience with dealing with media agencies and key accounts
Exposure to luxury brands
Regional Asia-Pacific experience
Experience in lifestyle magazines / PR
Good sense of humour.
